Do banks get information or care about your Savings account in other banks?

Hi,

My salary goes into my Paytm Payments bank (don't want to switch now because it's very convenient for me) and I was wondering if this becomes an issue when I apply for credit cards or loans, because Paytm is not a "full bank" like SBI/HDFC etc.

Usually when I've applied for a credit card some companies (HDFC) ask in which bank I have my savings account with. I know having a savings a/c with the same bank might impact CC applications because you have a relationship with them.

But does information on savings account - for example monthly balance, salary credit - does that go to the credit bureau or other banks? (And this affect my credit eligibility somehow?)

No. the CIBIL tracks and considers only the secured and unsecured loans. Your bank account has no impact on your CC application.
