Do not Play with Scammers

Friends,

Many of us would have received a message in WhatsApp about some stupid company offering money for reviews. Many play along and feel elated for taking the money and then blocking them.

My colleague did the same and earned ₹230 and then blocked them. In 2 days he received 20k into his account all of a sudden. He received an sms and assumed it to be a fraud one and in no time his account got blocked by hdfc. When investigated it was found that there was a cyber complaint raised on this account for scamming 20k.

The police showed him the telegram chats where the scammer gave my colleagues upi ID to the victim to transfer 20k. My colleague immediately unblocked the scammer number and contacted him only to find out that it was done intentionally for robbing their ₹230. They are demanding 3 lacs from him or else they will continue to use the account for such transactions and put him into trouble.

My colleague is going nuts running around the PS and repenting scamming the scammer.

So to all the Robin Hoods out there, kindly do not play with them and put yourself into trouble of proving your innocence.

Damn, that's scary dude. Just don't involve yourself with anything that hurts someone. These fake reviews actually come back to bite our own a** whenever we try buying some stuffs. Don't indulge in these scams otherwise it will become like "leopards ate my face"
