Unfortunately, SBI claws back that 1% after a few weeks/months. Have had that happen to me on several occasions.

They do. They changed the terms and conditions recently which mentions that they will crawl back at 1CV = 1INR rate.

Normal reward points as per base tier are awarded. Accelerated reward points, if applicable on your card, are not awarded.

actually, they do if you purchase during exclusive plus only or prime only day before sale day. I hope this doesn't get patched.
