Does 6 months cooling period for new card application also counts limit enhancements in Axis?

I want to apply for Axis Atlas and hold Axis ACE card with 30k limit. So I am thinking of applying for LE in Axis ACE (may help to get pre-approved Axis Atlas if my current application will be rejected). Now will I need to wait for 6 months to apply for Atlas after getting LE in Axis ACE? Or does the 3/6 months cooling period only counts last card application and not last LE?

Manually requesting LE may trigger it but auto LE will not.
