Yes. Had tata neu, then closed it 8 months ago. Got pre-approved offer last month.

Yes. Wait for 4 months, apply for credit card from hdfc website after login. You will be shown some useless card. Close the window. Then wait for few days/weeks. You will get pre-approved offer provided your cibil score is good and profile is good. Don't forget to give salaried in net banking if not already done
