Does making payments to the same merchant repeatedly flag anything?

TF Premier
does repeatedly transacting with the same merchant raise any kind of flag or impact card offers?

For example, I mostly buy gift cards from CRED, Maximize, and Amazon — probably around 90% of my total spend goes to these same merchants.

Now, I heard from one of my cousins he used to make repetitive large education payments with his HDFC Credit Card, and after that, he stopped getting limit enhancement or upgrade offers.

So, just wondering Does the bank’s system treat frequent payments to the same merchant as“non-diversified spending”?

Hdfc is somewhat we can't expect.

This is 100% sure that it will not be flagged as most of us do transactions on smartbuy for purchasing of vouchers.

One scenario will be if you do regular transactions on offline merchants with large amount (exceptions do exists in this as ornaments purchase, also if you have invoices then nothing to worry) small transactions aren't counted at all.

If the bank is Axis, then yes. They will flag it. Has happened previously to people.
