Does opening a savings account help in getting idfc credit card?

Hi everyone

Im trying to get idfc first bank credit card from last 2 years but they reject my application everytime. My cibil was always above 750 never dropped below 750 with no late payments or defaults or settlements currently i my cibil is 775+ but still got rejected i have other banks credit cards with high limit.
Now i was thinking of opening an account with idfc if that helps but im not sure as I've heard that opening an account won't help so is that true or false?
If opening an account helps then whats is the best account to open? I can maintain around 50k to 100k if that helps.

Too much struggle for an IDFC card but if you’ve made your mind, then yes it will definitely help in getting a pre-approved CC. If you can get a Select account if not then a normal account shall also be fine.
But do keep in my mind that this is not 100% certain. It’ll help sure, but its up to the bank.
