Does paying ITR with HDFC CC add to spends? No RP.

I wanna pay my ITR this week. My CC doesn't give reward points on govt txn and charges 0.82% fee(fine with that). However they give a Rs500 GV on spends of 50k per quarter. Does this txn add to spends? Or will I've wasted the spend. Any other hacks to pay ITR?

Unfortunately, I don't. I am still a student and getting a CC is hard enough I don't want to waste another credit enquiry. I just got a new UPI card a month.

i always keep enough cash to pay off my cc bill on time. I got my card at 18 and my dad taught me how to use it properly. I roll the money a lot. debit to pay credit and so on to maximize rewards. I have to pay my ITR this week. My CC doesn't give reward points on govt txn but does this txn add to spends? Or will I've wasted the fees paid?

Amazon icici card when paid through kotak bank gateway in ITR, you get 1% reward points and i pay the cc bill using hdfc platinum debit card to earn 1% cashback
