I have got my EazyDiner Signature Card about three months ago. I got the complimentary EazyDiner Prime Benefit. In the last two months I have Dined 6 times outside. Out of six times, the eazydiner signature card only worked four times, and the payment did not succeeded other two times, even though I tried multiple times. I had other cards which gave some discount on the bill payment. Here are the usage Details.

So far it has worked 67% of time.

My questions are,

How has it worked for you?
Have you also faced similar problem?
Is IndusInd bank or the EazyDiner platform knowingly limiting how many times you can use this card in a month, if so, what is the criteria?
or its just a technical glitch on their credit card payment system,
or a technical glitch on Eazydiner payment system.
or its all just coincidence and I am thinking too much, just need to keep some backups in case the Eazydiner CC does not work.

Common Credit Card Scenarios & How to Handle Them

Based on general credit card usage trends, here are some common situations you might encounter. These may not apply to all cards, but they are typical in many cases:

1. Transaction Declines with a New Card

  • During the initial period (especially the first 6 months), issuers may decline transactions due to security concerns.
  • This happens because the bank is still assessing your spending habits → where you spend (location) and how much you spend (average transaction value).
  • Over time, as they profile your usage, such declines usually decrease.

2. What to Do If Your Transaction Is Declined

  • Always check with bank customer support to understand the exact reason. Inform them that you are the one using the card.
  • If the decline isn’t from the bank’s side, it might be due to a temporary issue with the payment platform or merchant server. In such cases, check with the app or merchant support.

3. How to Handle Declines Effectively

  • If the decline message clearly states the issue and who to contact → Reach out to them directly.
  • If the decline reason is unclear:
    • Step 1: Contact Bank Support first.
    • Step 2: If the bank confirms no issue, reach out to App/Merchant Support.

4. Be Prepared with Support Details

Since declines can happen with any bank’s credit card, keeping customer support details handy (such as phone numbers, email, or social media help IDs) can save time in resolving issues.

  • Did you check with bank, what reason they provided at that time? Or App support?

I have not checked with the bank or the app. It would be undesirable at that time to call the customer care when my friends and the restaurant billing guy are waiting for the payment to be done, and I am pressing the digits on IVR to connect to a support agent. Can I call them now, i.e., after about 12 hours of the incident and ask the same?

that is the major problem with these apps be it EasyDiner, Dineout, Zomato .. U have to face and prepare for alternative in future.

- They may decline ur reservation.
- They may not accept certain payments or discounts.

Etc. So, saying just prepare and it may become worst sometimes.

YES, you can call CS now and ask them why that particular transaction failed at that time and enquiry Jan also during that call (if you see that CS knowledgeable and co-operate). No issues.
