why did you take ulip without any assurance of infinia?

You bought ULIP to increase your spend? You paid the insurance premium with your card?
Who sold you ULIP? Did you get it yourself?
You should have talked to your RM, he would have asked you to take ULIP and he would have helped you get INFINIA in return.
ULIPs have higher commission for the official who sold the policy, it is this commission that they are ready to help you get INFINIA in return. You didn't had to buy ULIP to increase your spend.

@akmittal You didn't had to go this desperate. Some things take time. Let it be.
Now that you have already purchased ULIP, and if the person who sold is a bank official and not some simple agent, talk to him to get your card upgraded. You should have negotiated first, now it's upto them if they want to help or not.
As you mentioned you already spent 7.5 lakhs in 6 months. If your credit limit is 8 lakhs or more then talk to customer care they would ask you to send a upgrade form to Chennai Office.
