Doubt about house verification for credit cards

I want to apply for I credit like amex mrcc or sbi cashback credit card since I don't have any prior relationship with them what are chances of them sending someone for house verification?

My father does not like me getting credit card in the first place since he thinks I would overspend and be caught in a debt trap, this happened to one of uncle. So yeah if someone comes to my house for credit card for verification he would flip out.

The house verification is completely in banks discretion, we cant avoid/manage it. even in your case, if it's not done still the card is to be delivered at your home, what about then your father wont get noticed?

Amex doesn’t verify but yeah the card will be delivered to your house.

Delivery is not that big of a problem. We sell through Amazon so they will assume that the delivery was a pickup. Generally I have gotten cards only from the bank which I hold my salary account and now after following the cc community I feel like a can do much better
