My joint account is showing as EORS WITHOUT PREMATURE CLOSE MANDATE. I applied for E or S account only. They added "without premature close mandate". Bank people also yet to clarify. What it means

Which type of SB account ?

Is it linked to other accounts like FD or Loans ? In the same bank or branch ?

Unless these details are known, it is difficult to give you a precise answer.

Generally speaking, preclosure mandate is taken for FDs or for fixed term loans.

What you’re seeing is Either OR Survivor.

Talk to them and ask them to remove the “without premature close” mandate if you hadn’t signed up for it.
