Edit: One A/C, 2 DC can be linked in HDFC. {New debit card applied but not needed now}

I currently have HDFC Preferred Platinum DC. I had recently applied a HDFC Millennia DC (in courier) which I realised that it's no more needed now. AND wanted to use the old one, how can I now keep the Old DC active?

Don't accept the courier, it will route it back to the bank.
Your old one will be only deactivated once you make any transactions on the new one.

Took the new card, old card not deactivated and both cards are linked and working.
This clearly means we can have 2 active DC on one account at the same time....
I think HDFC Bank is fooling us by saying that we can't use 2 debit cards at the same time in one account. As I have read a post where someone had opened 2 savings account for two debit cards.

Maybe, it will be deactivated in a month or so.
