Education payments on 3rd party application (Infinia or Atlas or IndusInd Legacy)

I have to make Education payment for Kangaroo Kids School around 2L per year. School does not have their own app or website to collect fee.
They have tie up with Parents Portal app where payments need to be paid.
App is charging 1.3% extra for Infinia CC and 1.65% extra for Atlas CC.

Infinia do not give reward points for education payments done on third party apps. On top of that they charge 1% extra also.. so net loss for Infinia is 2.3%
Atlas gives RPs on education so net profit will be 2-1.65% = 0.35% for Atlas
IndusInd Legacy gives 0.7% on education payments so net will be loss after deducting 1.6% charge..

I also have AirtelCC/RewardsCC/NeoCC from Axis.
I also have Neu InfinityCC from HDFC.
HSBC Cashback/Live+ does not give RPs on education
Icici coral and Sapphiro
Amex not accepted in the app.

SCAN and pay option also available but CC are not allowed..

Would like to use Atlas... any other tips?

Have you tried doing payment? My kids school uses Entab for fees management (with same convenience fees of 1.3%). I paid the fees via Entab school login and got 3.3% without any 1% surcharge on Infinia one week back

Every school is going to use such specialised 3rd party payment apps only. Schools don't have their own gateways. HDFC restriction is applicable for apps like Cred, Cheq, housing etc. which are generic education payment apps

oh.. Let me try paying small amount and check

I am also paying DPS fee using ATOM PG and getting 3.3% from Infinia.
Net = 3.3%-1% (PG charge) +1% (HDFC DC credit card payment method) = 3.3%
does anyone have any idea if this will work on SBI Collect as well? need to pay fees of 1.10 Lakh and planning to use Infinia for this. payment portal is SBI collect.

No reward points(for infinia) for paying with SBI Collect as well and also additional 1% charges for the same .. I raised a ticket I tried to explain them that its not a third party website like CRED but the only way to pay school fees as provided by the school .. still waiting for the response ..

"We wish to clarify that, there was a revision in the reward points structure with effect from September 01, 2024." - From HDFC
It seems that SBI Collect is considered as a third party website. So no reward points and additional 1% charge from hdfc as well .. Confirmed ..

Strange. Last month, I made a payment through SBI Collect for one of my sisters, and they initially charged me a 1% fee along with GST, but I still received the reward points.

Later, I escalated the issue to the priority redressal team and provided them with a screenshot of the SBI Collect receipt, which included the roll number, fee breakdown, and all relevant details.

They reversed the 1% fee and GST charges on my card.

Interesting .. so they are not considering SBI collect as a third party website? what is the rationale here? I didnt try escalating to the priority redressal team. Let me try that and see what comes out of it .. Thanks for letting me know ..

Also I am currently in touch with the HDFC customer care executive .. is it okay to directly send an email to priority redressal skipping escalation matrix i.e Escalation Desk, grievance redressal etc ..

Directly send an email to priority redressal team and send them the screenshot where there's roll number and fee breakdown and university name.

Purchase amazon pay vouchers each month with diners/Infinia @6.5 or 11.5% off. Each month 10k with 1 phone number. Make it with 2 numbers atleast.

Then pay on entab platform.
