Equitas RM asking to keep high balance in account post few weeks of opening for month end

Opened an account in Equitas this month, it's an Elite account. The RM has been asking me several times to keep a good amount of balance (10-15L atleast) in the account just during month end. He said I can withdraw post month end if I want to. What's his angle in this?

instead of AMB, i think they calculate end of month balances against each RM for performance

Equitas bank is pathetic
I closed elite account because application is very laggy and no one care to respond me
