Error enrolling transfer partners (Emirates, Bonvoy)

I am encountering an error when trying to enroll Emirates and Bonvoy as transfer partners. I was able to successfully add Vistara, Krisflyer and Qatar as partners though.

Unable to figure out why. Anyone here faced a similar issue before?

No. Amex to Skywards. Amex to Bonvoy.

In that case connect with Amex india support over Twitter and also Emirates support
Sometime they can take your request and do the conversion manually

Nope. Still haven't been able to add.

Reaching out to Amex on Twitter also didn't pan out. They took the request, but concluded that nothing is wrong on their end and asked to reach out directly to Marriott and Emirates 🙄.

Hi, i also have been trying to add bovoy id to amex for transfer but getting the same error. can anyone help

I’ve faced this issue with VA on Amex.

It’s been pending for years now.

Both Amex and VA are feigning ignorance.

Thankfully at 2:1 Amex to VA doesn’t exactly set the house on fire, definitely not with Prestige around in any case.

Update: The solution is to match the account names on both Amex and Partner end. They should match exactly.

I had a minor difference at Amex end. Once I updated that, transfers went through for both partners.
