Existing CVID and Vistara Infinite CVID

Hi. I already have an existing CVID with 10k points in it. Applied for Vistara Infinite offline at airport and got approved. However, nobody called to ask about any existing CVID and forgot to give the same during applying. So, how to make sure that i get the same CVID linked to the Vistara CC?

CV ID will be same if you applied with the same mobile number and email in Axis as given in your existing CV account

As the @thementalist said, if details match, same CVID will be used. If they create another one, mail Axis / Vistara to merge.

There are 2 options - sharing my views as I am on the same boat:

1. Axis will ask you to call Vistara - Vistara folks are too lazy and they hardly respond to your calls/emails - this is my experience
2. Call on the premium support for Axis CC - share your existing CVID and ask them to issue a new CC- they will take the request and dispatch the new card
 
There are 2 options - sharing my views as I am on the same boat:

1. Axis will ask you to call Vistara - Vistara folks are too lazy and they hardly respond to your calls/emails - this is my experience
2. Call on the premium support for Axis CC - share your existing CVID and ask them to issue a new CC- they will take the request and dispatch the new card

I faced the same issue with my Vistara CVID. they had issued a new CVID when I already had an existing one.

I explained my problem to multiple people from customer care and there was no resolution.

What worked for me was writing an email explaining everything to both Axis and Vistara as no one was taking responsibility for this process. They conveniently kept saying it was not our work, contact Vistara, when I called Vistara they repeated the same thing, contact Axis.

My suggestion: email both Axis (premium.experience@axisbank.com) and Vistara (contactus@clubvistara.com), insist Axis to issue you a service request number and follow up with Axis, it's their responsibility.

After 4 months of back and forth on email to Axis, I finally got the issue sorted. I still have to write an email to Axis to issue my free business class tickets from time to time, that process is still not automated for me.

Oh no.

Seems like a lot of hassle if the initial CVID is not same. For me, the CVID was same as the phone number and email were same.

Also, on the day of receiving the card, we paid the joining fee with GST and wrote to Axis customer care to upgrade to Vistara Gold and give the Business Class ticket voucher.

Got upgraded to Gold 2 days later with the ticket voucher also issued.
 
With SBI Vistara, I had applied online. The person who came home for document collection and KYC told me that when they call for verification, at that time tell them that you already have a CVID and to link it to the existing card. When they called for verification, they asked if I already had an existing CVID. I gave them that and when the card came, it was already linked with the existing CVID.
 
they rejected my vistara sbi card application after verification and initial approval were given and that too without any communication.
on repeated complaints to PNO, they said it's because I already have another SBI Card.
now I'm planning to close that card too, want nothing to do with these morons.

So taking a new card replacement with existing CVID helps. Axis has credited CV points basis my current cycle. Now waiting for vouchers and Gold Tier upgrade. Will keep this group posted.
