Hi all, few days ago (10th Jan 2023) , my onescore app refreshed my experian score and it was showing as 846, today i downloaded cheq app and it refreshed my experian score, now it's showing as 820 (24th Jan 2023) , a drop of -26 points for 1 credit card enquiry (was checking hdfc neu card eligibility) is it normal, if not , whom shall I contact to get it rectified?

What I noticed that Experian, CIRF and Equifax score will drop and increase like anything if there's any change in your credit report. So I don't care much for these scores.

Drop of 38 in Experian on 2 enquiries but my CIBIL went up 10 points. 🥲
Ohh so enquiries does affect this.
I've noticed my Experian score dropping only if the utilization is high and if there are new credit accounts added. For every other aspect, my score pretty much remains the same.
Yes , got a new credit card added this month from HDFC , is it a positive or negative sign for Experian score?

Ohh , they're so volatile, well then , even i shouldn't worry about them ig XD

Just make sure you pay your bills on time, maintain low credit utilisation and not apply for too many cards or loan in short span of period, all four credit scores will be good.
I disagree here. I have 780+ in CIBIL, 850+ in Experian but CRIF is 714 and Equifax is 747 since 6 months. No changes in CRIF and Equifax scores since months.

That's the mistake I did , I applied for 5 credit cards in a span of 1 week last week coz i got overwhelmed by the community and people having multiple ccs for more benefits. All enquiries are on my CIBIL report and that's y i guess it dropped by 1 point this month. What's a healthy number of enquiries per month or per year to maintain a good CIBIL score? I'm new to ccs so sorry for asking too many questions.

CIBIL also works in mysterious way. Like your score dropped only 1 point even after 5 enquiries. 1 to 2 enquiries per month will not impact your score very much.
