Experience applying IDFC Wealth Credit Card

I wanted to share my experience of applying IDFC Wealth Credit Card. I applied using a Cashkaro referral link.
The process was extremely smooth and fast which actually surprised me a little.

I mentioned my Amex MRCC limit of 7+ lakhs and was instantly offered Wealth and Mayura as top options. Chose Wealth as it was LTF.

The entire process of application and VKYC took me less than 15 minutes and about 45 minutes later my virtual card is ready on the app. I don't have any previous relationship with the bank so expected that it'll take some time for them but thh was just an awesome experience.

why do you apply IDFC Wealth credit card? anything that you are looking in that card?

would have been a great card if applied when it was launched in 2021 (as 2.5% for almost everything especially offline jewellery) as after April 2024 devaluation, this is literally a waste card for both offline and online and like all cards has a spend limit for airport lounges.. now no point to show difference between the basic/starting card Millennia or Select to the Wealth (high end) as give same RPs

Well, two reasons -
1. I don't have an IDFC card, kind of becoming a card hoarder now 😆
2. Needed another card for BOGO movie tickets

Did they offer Dreamfolks card or Priority Pass?

True that, 2.5% for income tax payment was too good.

If you have an IDFC card, you can check mcc via app without having to call anyone.
You can also do small transaction to know the code if the CC rep is unable to provide that info.
Useful for cards that give mcc specific discounts (Like HSBC cashback gives 10% on grocery/food mcc).

Via idfc app, go to the transaction>download receipt>review description for mcc

No I received only the physical credit card.

Update - I received the Dreamfolks card after a week.
