For things like maintaining premium banking NRV/MAB at group level, thus sharing premium banking status with partner.

- Is there some bank that allows this by policy?
- Have you had an RM/BM allow this (despite not being allowed as per policy)?
- Do banks ask for proof of relationship?

Please share your experiences on this, even if it doesn't directly answer the questions

Indusind partner account doesn't ask for any proof of relationship. Identify proof with different address are allowed.

Axis bank also allows this.

Not sure about other banks.

For reference, here's the family banking form, here's the family banking info page. Couldn't find any other T&C page. None of these mention the definition of "family"

Indus partner is the best suited account according to requirements.
This is a good time to open this account coz indusind bank is running a offer where if you do initial funding of 4L then you get this account at 0 mab and usually the required mab is 1L.

I think most of this is at the branch's discretion. So as long as one has the RM/BM's blessings, all should be good.

The reason I wanted an Axis account is that I want to get some Axis CCs, and I always prefer to have autodebit enabled. Burgundy makes Select LTF (although not sure if Select is worth getting into).
