I am using Airtel fastag since Paytm saga happened. 15 days ago I did a recharge 500 using Carinfo App and SBI simply save card. The recharge shown as successful but money is not credited to my fastag. I have to go somewhere so recharged again on PhonePe but the recharge failed this time.Then I opened Airtel app and found that account section was not opening at that time may be some server issue.I though 500 Carinfo rechrge amount will be refunded automatically like phonepe and other app/website but that did not happen.After waiting for 1 week mailed Carinfo about the problem. They told me on call that recharge is successful from our end and money is sent to your fastag bank so contact your bank.After some harsh discussion she told me that "Sir if you want you can raise chargeback on your card we will show the successful proof to card provider if we will not show them proper proof they will debit money from us. I am confused what to do now,I think Airtel will not entertain this issue atall.
Though 500 is not a very big amount but I am courios to know what can be done in this situation?
