Federal Bank Ac Freeze

My friend received this mail today, did someone else encountered the same thing? if yes how to proceed?

Trick ke help se account open karne pe aisa hota hai....(Only in FI)

Not in Jupiter they allowed also for normal Savings account.

Just now talked with my friend, he made a FD but now the ac is freeze he can't break that FD, (bank is giving option to withdraw only the money which is in his bank not in deposit)
now the case in under investigation

I had the same problem with my full KYC Jupiter account too.
Same Federal Bank and Jupiter refuses to tell me what is wrong.

They are letting me withdraw the money but simply don't want me as a customer.
I tried closing the account too and they are dragging their feet for that.

I am facing the same

Recently, many Federal accounts are being freezed, especially in Kerala. Its on the news, in April last week.

Hi Folks - I faced the same issue with my FI account, got it closed by spending thousands of hours and 100's of followups. However, now I came to know that I cannot open Federal Bank account anywhere including on Ind Money and using their own online account opening website.
This is so frustating, shall I complain this to RBI ombudsman? Shall I try once visiting a Federal bank branch in person?
