Federal Credit Card Amount Debited but Order Not Placed on Flipkart

PayKaroAbhi

I was ordering a product worth 63.5K on Flipkart with Federal Bank Credit Card EMI, and the moment I entered the OTP and hit the confirm button, it got stuck there and it threw me back to the payment method page again after a minute but the amount got debited from my card instantly. Flipkart is showing the order as Not Placed and contact the bank if amount debited.

The amount got debited on 20th Dec at 11 AM and still it's not reversed. What should I do?

Nothing for now.
If refund gets credited before EMI conversion ( which usually happens in 3 to 7 days), Emi wont be converted. No problem.

If refund comes after EMI conversion, Emi charges and 1st installment will be debited from ur card. Raise EMI cancellation request through customer care and state reason refund received and also ask to reverse full charges including gst.

Thats it. Nothing to worry. Ur money is safe

Actually I tried calling their customer care and they're asking silly things like - screenshot of alternative payment which I used for that order but I didn't try paying for it again. and also they're saying that it's showing as a successful txn etc. Acting like stupid!

Their means here Flipkart or federal?
U should call to Flipkart, its their mistake, ask Refund reference number RRN and give to federal customer care.
If u r directly calling to federal, then no use. They can't see ur cancelled order

Flipkart is saying that they've not even received the payment, hence it's showing as "Order not placed, please contact your bank if any amount is deducted"
Try again, new executive might give different answer.
If urgent, try on twitter, it's effective.
Its Flipkart gateway problem, they need to refund back.

Something very similar with me. Tried to purchase something on Amazon on 20th, after entering the OTP received SMS confirming the spend and reduced balance. However Amazon flashed payment failed screen and asked to retry payment to avoid order cancellation.

I tried multiple times over the course of next two days and all of them failed and on 21st statement was generated with all the failed txns as settled and a bill of over a lakh. Federal Bank says the payments were both approved and declined at the same time. Their version is Federal Bank has approved but says visanet failure shifting the blame on to Visa. However, once the bill was generated I was able to place a successful order.

So I guess you'll have to wait a couple of days to retry the payment and in the meantime try any lower value txns upto 2k or so, so their fraud detection mechanism doesn't decline your txn to the merchant.

Oh btw, none of my failed txns were reversed so far, so can't say how long you may have to wait but federal has taken a complaint and stated resolution time is upto 45 days.

Damn! How'd I pay that amount if charged together! I have already purchased that thing with HDFC CC now though on EMI.

Also It was supposed to be converted into EMIs, now also don't know what will happen to the EMI
