Feeling blue after goof up - Lost rewards

Due to my own goof up used atlas instead of m4b on a big flight booking around 1l on traveledge...lost close to 15k-20k points....

Looks like an international flight from the amount
If it's a domestic flight, you could consider canceling the ticket within 24 hrs of booking and rebooking with other card

yep international ticket...is there any such free cancellation clause? or you mean lose the cancellation charge and rebook?

DGCA has guidelines that invoke the 24 hr free cancellation clause for domestic flights.

I scratched my head pondering over such thing for an international flight I've booked at wrong time but found nothing in my quest.

oh good to know this....it isnt any use to me for now but maybe in the future...in such cases shall we just call the agent (bank/yatra/ct etc.) or flight? Or can it be done online for free?

okay wohi same chij thi...I remember that one I also commented...I thought that was for delay and compensation not for cancellation...or some other thread you're talking about?

I can imagine your pain bro. Just two days ago 100 Neu coins expired unused and I am still feeling the pain. Rs. 100 is not a big amount but ye rewards ke maal ka chakkar hi aisa hai 🤣. Mera Rs 500 ka note raaste me gir jata tab bhi itna pain nahi hota. Rewards ka maal lose karne me bahot pain hota hai 🤣. So I can imagine your pain. But we know for sure that with time pain goes away and a couple months from today, you'd think about this mistake and just laugh it off. So chill and remember that we learn from our mistakes.

Haan bhai mere saath bhi hua tha. Dedh hazar (Rs. 1500) ka payment tha. Pure dedh (1.5) din tak maatam manaya tha. 🤣

I Once used IDFC debit card on a weekend party bill of 56K for 2.5% rewards. Later I realised I could have used DCB for 2x rewards on dining.

Once I found a solid deal on myntra.. 1600 rs shirt was selling at 250 rs due to MRP error.. I immediately added 4 different shirts to cart and I thought I could save more money through GV at 5-6% off..

It took 5 min to purchase GV and till the time I added the GV and reached payment page.. The price got updated and I cursed myself for not ordering immediately.. Left with tears in my eye and unused 1000 rs GV, I went to sleep🤭
