Hi experts.
We have been collecting points for some time now on all the premium cards. We have
4L+ Amex MR,
85k Hdfc Diners Club
to start with. Have 3 other premium cards too.
We are planning a trip to Switzerland in May and I am unable to decide which airline I should transfer these points to for max benefit.Need to book. tickets for 2Adults and 2 kids. If someone can help me with this, I would be grateful.

For economy tickets, you can directly book revenue tickets on HDFC smartbuy using diners points. No need to transfer points

Use MR points to book Marriott hotel stays at Switzerland via Marriott Bonvoy app

It might be a bit late considering you are two months away and it's holiday season.

The flights are better off booked via Smartbuy instead of points transfer. You can use all of 85K points in one go since the flight tickets will be over 85K for 4 Pax.

As for Amex MR as suggested Bonvoy is an option, even here you will need to see if you get a MR booking considering the time. Also consider the fact the revenue vs points rate you get for hotels. If your stay is more than couple of days then the 4L will be a small part of spend for hotel room, you might find better deals through travel portals and their discounts. Marriott would have the highest price since the holiday season. You can try your luck.

Thanks for the replies. I do understand the time is short but I have been checking reward flight availability on a few airlines and they are available. Is it so that the points required will be high due to less time?
I’m getting Economy on Turkish - 70k miles plus taxes. Etihad at 59k miles + 33k taxes. I checked a few more. I would like to try my luck with points if possible. I tried using award tool and other websites to know which partner will be best but all show different answers and some don’t even have a flight bom-Zurich. Is there a way to make this simpler? Even if I can get 2 of the 4 tickets on miles that’ll be great. Thanks.
