Recently, after reaching the 4L milestone on my Amex Platinum Travel Credit Card, I called Amex customer care to request my bonus points.

As you may know, upon reaching the 4L spend milestone on the Platinum Travel Card, you automatically earn 7,500 MR Points after 1.9L in spending and 10,000 MR Points for reaching 4L. However, to receive the additional 7,500 (for 1.9L) and 15,000 (for 4L) bonus MR Points, you need to contact Amex via chat or call.

Here’s how the conversation went:

Me to the Amex representative:

"Hello, I’ve completed the 4L milestone on my Platinum Travel Card. Could you please credit the bonus MR Points?"

Amex Rep:
"Certainly, sir. Please hold for a minute."

Me:
"Sure."

After about a minute…

Amex Rep:
"Thank you for your business, sir. You are a very valuable customer to us, and we really appreciate it."

Me:
"Thank you!"

Amex Rep:
"I’ve credited the 15,000 bonus points; they should reflect in your account within 15 to 20 minutes."

Me:
"Great, thanks!"

Amex Rep:
"Wow, sir, you already have a huge points balance!"

Me:
"Haha, yes, I’ve been accumulating them for quite a while."

Amex Rep:
"Yes, it shows as 1 lakh 2 thousand points... that’s incredible!"

Me:
"🤯🤯🤯 Wait, what? 1 lakh 2 thousand? Can you please double-check that balance?"

After a brief silence…

Amex Rep:
"Oh my, I’m so sorry, sir… you actually have 10 lakh 2 thousand points! Wow!"

Me:
"Ma’am, you nearly gave me a mini heart attack!"
And then we both started laughing.

The end!

Me:
"Ma’am, you nearly gave me a mini heart attack!"
And then we both started laughing.

If the same was done by a male, it would have gone like this

what can you get for those 1 million points?
1M Marriott Bonvoy points, then it can transfer to many airline's miles... or transfer it to US amex account... and many other options. I can also transfer it to CS bank account as I have CS amex platinum card... and get pure 1 MR = Rs. 0.53 cash value... after transfer it to us and then to CS account.... many options are available.

Charles Schwab,
Yes I sometimes transfer to US depending on my needs, because us amex offer 1:1 transfer rate to all partner air miles.
tried many times they don't give Charles easily as they said iam not from USA even having the address and the cards. my mistake is once i mentioned india as country since then now they decline all cards
