Generate revenue through plot

I have a piece of land in tier 3 city semi- urban .
I want that land to generate revenue for me , so what should I do so that monthly revenue can be generated from it .
Anyone having any idea , suggestion or anything relating to it can share their views .
 
Depends on the locality, if it's not in business area, you can build a shed and rent it out as a godown. Potential customers could be furniture stores, garages, construction material shops,etc. Not sure if it would generate much revenue though.

You can build own shed or give it to food courts , that will generate good revenue if plot is nearby or inside city where foodies or students, hostel people living nearby..

If it is closer to any highway, you can rent it for lorry/truck parking. Or any huge billboard for advertising if visibility is from highway.

Or you can check whether any mobile tower is needed in that locality for long term regular income.

All of this won't need any investment from you.

Sell it and buy some land/floor/appt in the nearest tier 1 city. For 70 + some amount, you can get a decent floor (2bhk) in a semi-urban locality in a tier 1 city near a college or a company. You can make it as a PG or Company guest house, or lease it as co-working space (Safest options). Letting/Subsetting or converting it in a tier 3 city will not give you any major yield.
 
Again to add here, rather than selling plot, you can give it to rent whoever you find for food stall, offices, car repair, car showroom or parking... selling land is not viable option unless you are In need of money. Because once you sell it, you will not get same plot again and if you ask after selling price for buying same plot they will tell you double price 🫣
