Issue Resolved Got ₹ 6000 Compensation from Yes Bank

Recently, I faced an issue with the delayed closure of my credit card with the Yes Bank. The bank hasn't responded initially to compensate Rs500 per day for delay in closure of the card. Then raised a RBI Ombudsman complaint and received Rs6000 compensation.

I actually tried to close my axis fk card today and i thought they dumbfucks will close it right away, thk god they transfrd me to axis cancellation dept and i got offer for one waiver (I should have asked LTF but axis hardly do any waiver so I was thinking even one time waiver is enough lol). Their criteria is 3.5L for waiver and I spent 1.95L. This is dumb as axis told me it's 3.5L and i told them it is 2L (i remember it was 2L when i got the card from flipkart), and even right now flipkart website shows waiver on 2L only. But flipkart has 2 axis bank fk card pages/website.


on one it says 2L and on other it says 3.5L Lol

anyways the guy raised waiver req as he said i did 50% more spends of total of 3.5L so he will get the waiver for me.

If there are 2 pages for a single card and both are active, then you can raise a complaint for misleading the customers.

raise complaint with RBIO? Btw the link is of flipkart, axis bank can simply say our own axis bank website has correct info no? why axis bank take blame of flipkart?
 
i had similar case...i complained to rbi...for 4-5 months no reply from rbi....then they closed the case without even giving me a chance to say anything...in my case they had closed my card almost 9-10 months after i put in the request...

File an RTI.. You can still do that. Don't miss this. The compensation is huge in your case
 
How do I get Compensation in card closure because at the time of ombusedement. There aren't any account detail required. I am asking for the credit card user without the saving account with the card issuer bank.
 
I have no account with the Yes Bank. You can provide any bank's details for compensation when the bank asks for the details where the compensation is to be paid.
