I got a call from an agent (third party) about IndusInd Legend LTF...
She said that I was pre-approved, I asked for more clarification about it, and after some back and forth she said that she checked the system and it seems like the application will go through, as it is pre-approved. All I have to do is submit the application, then vkyc and I'd have the card in 5 days.
I agreed and asked her to submit.
Then I got a call from an employee at IndusInd, to confirm my application, to which I accepted. I even asked him what is the chance of approval, he said it's almost certain
After mobile and aadhaar verification (online), the application was submitted.
However, within minutes, I got an SMS saying my application was declined.
I called the employee again, and told him about it.
He said the "Online" application is rejected because my pincode is not eligible for vKyc, so in a few days an agent will contact me for biometrics and will come at home or office.
And he said that Cibil and everything is good, so I wouldn't be rejected.
It's been 3 weeks and no agent or biometrics guy has called 💀
- What should I do? Should I call the employee again and followup or should I wait? Would it help if I went to the bank offline and applied?
Haven't done this before so I'm really lost.
- I've been extra paranoid about the approval throughout because I always get ghosted after submitting applications for these "Pre-approvals" - Paisabazaar and Bankbazaar offers with RBL (hate this bank)
