Got this mail after my HDFC Regalia CC was approved, what exactly does this mean?

Hi, so I applied for a HDFC Regalia CC C2C and my application was approved, I received the instant card too and in the mail, it said I got Regalia only, now I received this mail saying "We would like to update you that basis the information provided and the documents submitted we are offering you a variant of our Credit Card which is other than what you have applied for." So what exactly does this mean? Am I not going to receive a Regalia CC? have they downgraded it? Also what does 13 REGALIA Credit Card mean?

They'll most likely give you millenia. Hdfc is doing this a lot recently

You can identify the card by the first four digits. You can check and confirm in net banking

I just checked in net banking. I should have thought about this before, but anyway thanks for reminding me. So in net banking, it shows "MC EMV WORLD REGALIA CARD DOM" so does this mean I will get regalia only? and then what is the mail about sending another card than I applied for about?

It’s issued regalia they don’t change so no worries

Looks like MasterCard variant. May be that is what the message tells as I have seen Regalia only in Visa.

okay yeah that might be, lets see. is there any disadvantage of regalia on mastercard compared to visa ?

Yeah its Mastercard world varient.. I too recieved the same when applied through c2c basis 2 months back.. I then called customer care to change it to Visa and they gave me Visa signature varient.
There are always better offer in Visa on websites + good airport lounge cover in visa than mastercard(in india.. international mastercard have good coverage)
.. and I have heard visa is more acceptable in india (although I never had any issue with mastercard at any retail store)..

The only reason I changed to Visa is if an upgrade opportunity comes for regalia cc.. that would hopefully get me a card with visa infinite varient and visa infinite always have good offers than mastercard..
