How much does Atlas give?
Buying 10k voucher gives 1650 points - 350 (extra you got to pay) so effectively 1300 points and 13% returns by Infinia. Earlier it was 13.5% return. In big scheme of things, fine.

You also have to consider the 70% redemption criteria, which lowers the reward rate to only 9.1%. Axis Atlas gives 7.2% on all spends except for travel. And, considering that an Atlas owner spends 750000 a year the reward rate would be 10.8% due to the 15000 in milestone + renewal benefits he gets. This is not including any travel spends, where the Atlas shines even more. And, the Atlas owner has the ability to buy the voucher from whichever vendor is giving the most discount, which Infinia owners obviously cannot do due to the low base reward rate.
One more thing that you have to keep in mind is that Axis Atlas has less than half the Annual fees of Infinia. And the value of 1 Infinia point is definitely not 1 INR, so please don't give me that excuse that the renewal points are worth 12k.

It's not like the remaining 30% goes to waste. You'll just use it in a different transaction.

So are you saying Atlas gives 10.8% on Amazon GV?. That's all the info I was curious about. Could have found by search, but was lazy.

I think you should put this disclaimer in all of your post praising M4B from now on...
as with 36k fee and 30L FD, current M4B is not comparable with other cards
M4B is good now only for the people who have it LTF...
so, new people may get confused with your claim of M4B as the greatest card (if you do not put the disclaimer that you have the card LTF)
I accept, once upon a time, it was the best rewarding card may be in the whole world....but not anymore...

You can never actually use it till the day you die. There will always be a 30% left.
There is a school of thought on TF that uses this 70/30 logic.

If you have 1L points, it doesn't mean you can use only 70%.
If your tickets/hotel costs 1L, you can use points to pay max 70%
You can buy tickets worth 1.5L and use up all 1L points which is less than 70% of 1.5L

Now this other school of thought (critics) are welcome to give another argument as it's a democracy. Let's just agree to disagree and list the facts and constraints.

Disclaimer: I am sure Axis Atlas might be better than Infinia in some scenarios as no CC is perfect. But I haven't followed Axis cards closely. I am late to the CC rewards game.

Leave it man.. Clearly all the above who are cribbing about infinia don't seem to have one or if they have then have not used the rewards portal.

Ppl completely forget that redemption is just one part, miles transfer allows 100 percent conversion.

Also most important hdfc service is 1000times better than axis mess.

True that. Just don't want misinformation/misrepresentation spread in the community.
