Has anyone received the pre approved credit card at non serviceable locations?

My address is non serviceable as per kyc doc, applied for kiwi yesbank credit card, used relative's address(which was serviceable), card was approved and no physical verification was done.
Good to know but question here is if not changing address to serviceable locations would you still be able to procure the card? I guess no so looking for a example if any exceptional cases where person managed to get one despite non serviceable locations.

Most of the banks, If you have a salary account with them. They will give you the card even if you reside in a non-sourcing location.
Some banks do it for Private tier banking. For eg. IDFC gives pre-approved cards to their private banking customers.

I was approved for the Yes Bank Select Credit Card with a credit limit of ₹50,000. However, my residential pincode is not serviceable. To resolve this, I provided the same KYC document address but used a nearby serviceable city's pincode. The bank dispatched the card via Blue Dart, but due to the address mismatch, they contacted me. I collected the card from their office.

Recently, my card was upgraded to the Elite plus variant, and I followed the same process again.

Yeah, seems like customer has to change the address/pin code in order to get the credit cards even if you’re pre approved.
