Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my recent experience with the HDFC Bank BizGrow Credit Card. Initially, my application was rejected, but after reaching out to the Grievance Officer, the card was eventually approved. However, to my disappointment, the approved credit limit is extremely low just ₹15,000.
What’s frustrating is that the card was marked as active in my CIBIL report even before I received it. Despite my warnings to HDFC not to activate the card until a suitable limit was granted, they went ahead with the activation. Now, they’re saying the limit might be increased in the future, but there’s no definite timeline.
This isn't my first struggle with HDFC. I had to close my first HDFC MoneyBack Business Card due to similar issues. Despite applying through a DSA on a C2C basis with a ₹60,000 limit, they approved me with only ₹16,000. I tried every possible way to increase the limit over 10-11 months, but nothing worked, so I eventually closed the card.
Now after 10 months I've applied again this new card and another low limit, I’m unsure what to do next. Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any advice on how to deal with HDFC and potentially get a limit increase or better card? Should I activate the card or consider closing it again?
Thanks in advance for your Guidance!
