1. What is the change in the process for availing complimentary lounge access?
Current Process: Customers who meet the quarterly spends criteria of Rs. 5,000 become eligible for lounge benefits in the following quarter. They can avail the benefits by swiping the physical debit card at the lounge.
Effective from 10th January 2026:
Customers who meet the new quarterly spend criteria of Rs. 10,000 will receive an SMS/Email on their registered mobile number/Email ID within 2 working days, containing a link to claim their lounge access voucher.
The customer needs to click on the link, claim the voucher, and will receive a 12-18 digit voucher code via SMS/Email.
This code must be shown at the lounge to avail complimentary access.
Note: Physical debit card-based lounge access will no longer be accepted from 10th January 2026.
2. Effective Date for the Voucher-Based Lounge Access
Effective Date: The voucher-based lounge facility will be applicable from 10th January 2026.
3. What is the new spend criteria for availing the complimentary lounge facility?
Customers will be eligible for complimentary lounge access in a calendar quarter if they have spent Rs. 10,000 or more on their HDFC Bank Debit Card.
Infiniti Debit Card: Eligible for lounge benefits without any spending criteria.
Example: If a customer spends a minimum of Rs. 10,000 in a quarter (e.g., Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec), they will receive an SMS/Email within 2 working days with a link to claim the lounge access voucher.
Note: The number of complimentary lounge accesses per quarter depends on your debit card variant, as shown below:

4. Step-By-Step Process to Claim the Lounge Voucher:
Customer will receive an SMS/Email with a link to claim the lounge voucher after meeting the Rs. 10,000 spend criteria on their HDFC Bank Debit Card.
Click the link and log in using the registered mobile number, then validate the OTP.
Important: Login must be done using the mobile number where the eligibility communication was sent. If the mobile number has changed, the customer must still use the old number.
After OTP validation, the customer will see the lounge access voucher details. To claim, click Claim Now and validate another OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
Once claimed, the customer will receive a voucher delivery email and SMS containing a 12-18 digit alphanumeric voucher code or QR code.
Show the voucher code/QR code at any empanelled lounge to avail the benefits.
5. How to Re-Issue Details for Already Claimed Vouchers:
If the customer wants to re-issue details of an already claimed voucher:
Click on the chat bot (EMA) at the bottom right corner.
Select Resend Voucher.
Enter the registered mobile number and a 6-digit OTP.
Choose the relevant voucher name.
The voucher details will be retriggered to the registered mobile number and email ID.
6. What is the validity of the lounge vouchers?
The voucher’s validity is from the date of generation until the end of the next calendar quarter.
Example 1: If the voucher is received on 15th November 2025, it will be valid until 31st March 2026.
Example 2: If the voucher is received on 10th January 2026, it will be valid until 30th June 2026.
Example 3: If the voucher is received on 31st March 2026, it will be valid until 30th June 2026.

8. Does cash withdrawal from an ATM using the HDFC Bank Debit Card count for complimentary access?
No. ATM cash withdrawals will not be considered. Only purchases made in-store or online using the HDFC Bank Debit Card for a minimum of Rs. 10,000 will be considered.
9. Does the spend of Rs. 10,000 apply for a single transaction?
Yes. The Rs. 10,000 can be spent in a single transaction or through multiple transactions aggregating to Rs. 10,000 or more, either in-store or online.
10. Is a newly opened account with HDFC Bank eligible for complimentary lounge access?
For newly onboarded customers, the Rs. 10,000 spend criteria must be met to avail complimentary lounge benefits.
11. Will Gpay/Phonepe/Paytm or any other mobile wallet-based payments be considered?
No. Payments made through UPI or wallet-based apps will not be considered. The spend must be made using the HDFC Bank Debit Card only.
12. Will Credit Card bill payments or Debit Card EMI payments be considered?
No. The payment must be made using the HDFC Bank Debit Card for regular, non-EMI spends. Credit Card bill payments made using a debit card will not be considered.
13. General Information:
Lounge access will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Participating lounges may enforce a maximum stay policy (usually 2-3 hours) at their discretion and may impose charges for extended stays.
Lounges follow their own food offerings and child policies—check with the lounge before entry.
Free alcoholic drinks (where permitted by law) are provided at the discretion of the lounge. Additional alcoholic drinks may incur charges, which will be the responsibility of the customer.
Lounge staff has the right to refuse entry or terminate the visit for customers who are intoxicated, disorderly, or in violation of lounge conditions, health and safety policies, or fire safety regulations.
