So you mean Sbi Unipay + HDFC ESP DC will get 1% cashback on HDFC CC bill payments as well?

Believe HDFC DC doesn't give CB on HDFC CC bill payments. Saw in this thread that the user didn't receive any cashback on HDFC DC on paying HDFC CC bill via SBI Unipay:

Unipay is tagging utility mcc so you're getting rewarded on ESP DC
