HDFC CC Upgrade?

I am having HDFC millennia and tataneu infinity card. Now I would like to upgrade my millennia to regalia gold or Diners one specifically looking for lounge access. But in online portal I am getting you have applied credit card recently. Tried with RM but no luck. I am having salary account with HDFC for last 9 years and now it's upgraded to classic. Not sure what is the use.

If you applied a card recently, you will have to wait 3-6 months to apply for a new card, that too a core card.

You can try writing to them requesting for an upgrade

I also want to upgrade my card(freedom CC LTF don't ask why I took it also got Rs 1500 I consider it as max returns it can give)
I got it this year in July with a limit of 25k
I do use it spends ~3K/month(mostly Sbuy and UPI)
is there any way to upgrade it through email as I haven't received any other offers since then?
