Hello everyone, as i have cibil subscription and recently I've noticed that my scores started to dance within same month and observed that hdfc reporting on every 6/7th and 22/23rd day of month (every 15 days). So be careful if you use your cards in a way which could hamper your credit scores.

As of now (14-12-2024) these banks/cards report as on mentioned against each
1. Axis = Bill generation and Month end
2. Hdfc = 6/7th and 22/23rd every month (for pixel card) and 15th/30th for others. (Updated on 18-12-2024)
3. Amex = every 14 days (dates not known to me)
4. ?
to be continue

Thanks

PS: Please contribute your suggestions for other cards/banks to update list

I think this isn't correct as i too have cibil subscription but only saw amount difference and also not after the bill generation its after bill payments, its going to be boost in cibil score for 0 dues payments, earlier they were reporting the bill amount due.

I don't know which Bank you're talking about but i just informed that reporting dates have changed for few banks, and about score if outstanding/due (reported) are closer to the zero (or -Negetive) then scores jumps up else keeps hanging between a range for some ratios for your portfolio.

Any hdfc notification or source, apart from checking cibil directly?

What do you mean by amount difference?
Each bank has their own report methodology i.e. Some reports on later date but picks due/outstanding from different date,

"as sbi picks amount which was due/outstanding on last date of month but put on reporting portal before due date of same account"

it's complex to determine which banks reports which amount on which date.

As you mentioned amount difference for hdfc, it reported exact same amount which was due/outstanding (billed/unbilled) as on reporting date.

For example: my hdfc card has outstanding of Rs.100 on 22nd November 2024 (which was reported same day) and then bill generated i paid bill before 7th December 2024 so outstanding is "Zero" then on 7th December hdfc reported "Zero" at this point

My hdfc card will look like in cibil is:
Before 22nd November 2024 = 0
After 22nd November 2024 = 100
After 7th December 2024 = 0

So cibil will be up/down after each date if change in outstanding amount (>0 or 0).

That's what i was saying.

Hdfc pixel has odd dates for reporting to credit beauros than other hdfc cards reported on 15th and 30th of every month.
