HDFC Classic Platinum Debit Card Upgrade on Classic Banking Program

I am planning on requesting my RM for classic account upgrade. I already have a HDFC Platinum debit card. Does enrolling into classic banking program will trigger a new Classic Platinum Debit card to my address? I am not sure if the new card has any other benefits apart from the platinum debit card. In Case if there is nothing significant, is it possible to avoid the card upgrade as it seems a unnecessary new card?

Same benefits as your existing dc but written a word classic on it
Get new dc it’s free of cost issue only

It'll not automatically trigger a new debit card. You have to manually go and choose for card upgrade to get the Classic platinum one.

I upgraded to Classic account few years ago but still using the old platinum debit card only
