HDFC credit card rejected despite having salary account with them

Hdfc rejected my credit card application because of multiple salary credit🙄
While applying my RM told me it was pre approved, even saw that in my mail (ss attached).
Now I am unable to get my RM on phone.
Please help

But sir there is no multiple salary, just some occassionally TA bills credited apart from salary that's it

Have you applied online or through RM? If online, pre approved offer will show the fees etc and it will straight away give the card within a day or two.

I have replied to the mail with my salary slip yet no response from them it's been 5 days now

You can also send an email with your income documents to Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com, and ask them to review your CC application.

Through RM, isn't this pre approved?

No idea about offline through RM. If online, you can click the link and see which card is offered to you as pre Approved.

Go to bank and close the account lets see how they respond tell them how they are not helpful even with salaried account

I have locker facility at HDFC Bank will they allow me to close my account as my locker charges are debited from my savings account. Moreover they need to have a customer ID in order to maintain locker , if i close my account customer ID will also be closed

Just tell them that you want to terminate all the relationships with them. They will give you whatever card you need or are eligible for. Also, you can raise this with grievances mail, they too can help you with the same. Tell your RM that you are moving to another bank because of this attitude from them.

Just give them your pay slips and wait for them to respond.

They themselves have asked for it and will review further. Don't bother closing anything if there is no need to. Sometimes, we humans overthink too much and mess it up. My honest advice.
