Today I received a call they told that they are calling from HDFC and they require my address and adhar number to process HDFC card .
They are offering tata neu swiggy and millennia LTF .
They know my email phone and pan number .
Should I proceed with the details?
They are spamming ?

In Truecaller it showed employee banker

Have you already applied for HDFC bank Credit Card, which is not approved yet. Pending application ? then its a spam call becase they got the data from some source. because same happened with me also.

No. ask them to send an email from their work email ID to your email ID post which you will respond. If the emails you get do not end from hdfcbank(dot)com, don't bother to respond.

Bank never ask for Aadhaar Number on phone. Even sometimes, if they require Addhar for verification they ask to make first eight digit non readable.

They are DSA (direct selling agents). Just follow what @akshayhs said. If you don't want any more call from any other agency (tied to hdfc) then fill up the following form...

I applied for HDFC credit card few days back ... Does HDFC share these data ?

I applied online multiple times thru hdfc website and tata neu app, but rejected every time.

I usually (till date) daily receives such calls, but always denied sharing over whatsapp.

Then one day out of curiosity 😉 I just entertained such call where she asked to share aadhar, pan card, passport size pic and another bank card statement over whatsapp.

I shared and booom💥

Received LTF card in two weeks.

No issues till date. It's almost 18 months been.

Note: I am not recommending to anyone to do same. I have just shared my experience.

And those who are crying over data privacy, they should know it's "INDIA"😂

Received LTF card in two weeks.

And those who are crying over data privacy, they should know it's "INDIA"😂

It's better to get cards from nearby Agents. This way you may know the person and in case of issue....

How many? 1 core card allowed per customer. Rest u can apply online or offline.

Yes. It's mentioned in the disclaimer before we apply in HDFC site. They share only with their DSA, but not sell the data with outsiders. The regulations are bit strict.

I had a similar experience. I had applied Moneyback+ (paid) as my first ever credit card & got rejected. After a couple of days I received a call from an "agent" & she provided me LTF Millennia
