Hdfc digisave youth account opening.

So am I a student and was trying to get a hdfc digisave youth account. I was not able to apply using my aadhaar linked number because of some error. I tried using my mother's number and choose to go to the branch for KYC. Now when I went to the branch they are telling that I will to maintain a 5K and it will a normal savings account.

I am in a semi urban area. And when I contacted the HDFC Bank customer care they told me just call them when I visit the branch and they will speak to them.

I will update the status there.
