They may not waive off completely but you can ask. They gave us 50% off from what I recall because of savings account status

I applied through a channel partner last year. After the loan disbursement , channel partner refunded the amount I paid for application to my paytm.
Apply through a channel partner...you just have to apply using their link...all application and document upload is on hdfc official website. 🙂
