HDFC & ICICI Credit Card Upgrade

I received upgrade offers for my HDFC MoneyBack Plus (LTF) to the Millennia (FYF) and my ICICI Coral (LTF) to the Sapphiro (FYF). I contacted customer care for both banks to ask if the upgraded cards could be made lifetime free, but my requests were denied. What should I do to get them LTF?

Both these cards are rupay so are mostly used for upi transactions and both have 1L+ limit. Yearly usage of both cards combined would be less than 70-80k at max as I have a total of 14 cards and I mostly use other cards.

You can mail and request them to offer LTF based on relationship and usage of your cards.

I can't say anything on this , but it's risky

Hdfc card good only if u dont have other cards giving same or more cashback , icici card of not much useful. I also rejected hdfc upgarade as fyf

After upgrading to millennia spend 1L+ and place request for ltf. 90% chances HDFC would accept

and my ICICI Coral (LTF) to the Sapphiro (FYF).

what ICICI offering is final. You can't make fyf to ltf after that. Don't take sapphiro useless card

I think millennia give points if annual fees charged so net loss would be around 200. Either take that or wait 2-3 months you might get ltf offer soon.

ICICI cards (other than amz pay and emerald metal) are mostly useless. Skip.

For Hdfc wait till Dec you might get LTF upgrade offer for Millennia

For ICICI apply Sapphiro from LTF link which you usually see it on Instagram and Facebook
