I got an upgrade for HDFC IMPERIA for my mom bank account (right now it is classic savings account)
As I am maintaining higher limit in account
I was offered this

Is it it good to take this upgrade offer ?

Should I maintain 10 lakhs average per month for imperia or not ? (Any fee will be levied)
(I also see that there is no fee for non-maintenance balance on website but still I am not sure)

Should I pay for imperial debit card fee (850+ taxes) (in website it says free card)

Any special perks for this account other than higher transaction limits on DEBIT CARD

I got similar upgrade. Please upgrade immediately, before that offer goes away, there are no extra charges or infact any charges on imperia account.

Other perks can be good credit card variants LTF, free self cheq to cash, free locker, RM to get any info on any bank account in hdfc (family's I meant).

There are many more perks but I have used above

Ya go ahead take this. No harm per se.

The Imperia program offers a dedicated RM. One of the perks is free locker, although usually availability is very limited.

But it also comes with specific requirements and considerations. To maintain Imperia status, you need to keep an AMB of 10L. If not met, fee may be charged (like on debit card), and there is a possibility of being downgraded back to a lower tier. However, they may not downgrade immediately if the criteria are not met, but this can vary by branch and individual circumstances

Once upgraded to HDFC Imperia can I add cousins in family grouping or they need to be immediate family members only?? Kindly assist if anyone knows. I'm aware as per info on their website I need to know about practical implementation ig anyone has tried and was successful.

That means branch can add cousins it's just that they don't want to it seems... Axis RM told me straightforward they can add friends also for Burgundy. But I don't have MAB 🤣 so can't upgrade to Burgundy 🥲.

Don't tell them that you are a imperia customer and ask for paid locker. Then they will give you locker. So first year it may be chargeable and then from next year, that will be free

Are you sure they charge the fees? So if I get downgraded to classic/preferred, should I changes my DC too?
