Hi,
I have taken Insta Jumbo loan Last year, I usually pay through their Mobile banking, does anyone paid that loan through bbps? If so how?

I hold a HDFC savings account and always the emi is auto debited from it. Never got option to pay manually. Also during foreclosure they give us a different account number to pay the outstanding.

The 16digit Alternate Account Number (AAN) mentioned in your Jumbo statement is the card number.
Nope . AAN is different. Card no is different.

Card no can be fetched from your CIBIL report . HDFC only provides AAN for NEFT/IMPS .

CC doesn’t provide card no even on call , just AAN !

I paid last month emi using 16 digit AAN mentioned in the statement, which the HDFC CC guided me. Take that AAN and add under
Cards--> Transact --> Credit Card Payment --> Other HDFC Bank Credit Cards--> Add Beneficiary
in the old netbanking portal.

How ? Process ?
While registering for Payzapp using the same mobile number of your HDFC will auto fetch all your debit and credit cards from your bank. But after registering payzapp, it doesn't have the option to auto fetch.

AAN is alternate account no . BIN starts from 10 . Enter your AAN anywhere and it would say invalid card no .

Jumbo loan card no fetched in CIBIL is valid card no . You can pay from any 3rd party app using that card no .

But if u have just AAN , u need to pay via Bank account either via IMPS/NEFT/CC payment.

My Experience:
I was provided with ANN and Loan Number. I tried to Pay using ANN number (IMPS via Gapy) but it was declined everytime. Then I put Last 4 digits of the Insta Jumbo Loan Card no on Credit card section of Gpay and it fetched the due from BBPS. (BTW Full Loan Card No wasn't given only 4 digits were given but in BBPS it's suffice to fetch the Due).

With introduction of BBPS , this became possible. I already did 2 repayments through NEFT . Abhi chamka ki aise v kara jaa sakta tha . Rs 220 ka nuksan 😅

NEFT didn't worked for me. It was instantly declined. And it was risky for me as I had no confirmation if I paying the right person. But with BBPS I know that I am paying the right account as the outstanding is auto fetched. And btw why 220 ka nuksaan?

Thanks for sharing this trick. Will this option for loan emi payment works even if you have HDFC savings account?

Also, what about paying through other BBPS bill payment apps like Unipay, Setu, Airtel etc., with debit cards?

Yes you can pay your jumbo loan in BBPS supported apps. I have always paid like that.
