HDFC IOCL fuel reward points

Hi guys,

I've just received the first month statement which has two fuel transactions of 400 and 3500 both at IOCL taking to a total of 3913 after fuel surcharge and gst.

But, the statement shows 0 reward pointns. Even the hdfc mobile app it shows 0 reward points.

When will i get the fuel points and where can i check them? Aren't they visible in the rewards points section of the statement and mobile app?

You should receive those fuel points within 1 month of transaction date. At least wait till next statement date, if you don't receive them by next statement date, you should email the transaction details to customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com, explaining them that you did not receive the appropriate fuel points.

But fuel points are also shown as just reward points, right? Or should i check the fuel points somewhere else?

They are the same. HDFC calls them Fuel Points for this particular card variant.

Thank you. And there is a capping for 250 per month for first 6 months and after that its 150 per month, right? Is this calendar month or based on the statement cycle? The customer care team is clueless about it but confirmed its statement cycle. But I'm unable to trust them as he was totally confused.

Oh... i started using it this month sincei got the card in the last week of April. i got the statement for this month on 12th May. So, my first month is already gone and next month started? Sadly i was only able to utilize 3900 of petrol only as i thought it was calendar month. So, only 5 more months remaining for the 250 capping? From 7th month, its only 150
