HDFC Millenia or DCP Floater?

TF Buzz
I currently hold the HDFC MB+, UPI Rupay, Tata Neu Plus RUpay & Swiggy (1.98L Limit). Spent over 2.5L on MB+ in last 8 months. I called RM today about an upgrade to Millenia or DCP. She said I'd have to send the form to Chennai offline but I don't have any income so that's a no-go.
But she said she could've issued Diners as a secondary card if I had spends of 1L in the last year but I already have a max of 4 cards. She asked if I wanted to close the UPI Rupay and wait 3 months and get DCP. Millenia upgrade has to come preapproved or salary statements are needed.
I could close the UPI card since I already have Neu, Coral and Federal Signet. But I'd have to wait 3 months. I'd take DCP along with Millenia if it came to that.

you already have 2 core cards, not sure about possibility to get another as floater, there are high chances it will get rejected.

2nd floater itself difficult unless rupay or pixal, but 3rd I'm not sure.

Btw, both cards not useful to you with swiggy already providing better cashback.

As you have more than 1 lakhs limit, directly send an email to grievance team for millennia upgrade. They will ask income proof only if your limit is less than 1 lakhs. You are safe.

Is there any benefit in getting the DCP over Millenia? I'm not using the BMS offer since I have 4 other cards with up to 500 off so I don't see the benefit. Diners' acceptability is also low. But why double the fees?

Exactly. She wanted me to close the UPI Floater, wait 3 months and get DCP.

It's depends on how do you want to redeem points. If you wants to redeem points as cash back then Millennia is better. Or else DCP is better.

Wow is this really a thing in HDFC? Can we get issued a secondary core card if we've spends of +1L in the last year? My foolish RM doesn't even admit that HDFC gives more than 2 cards so it's hopeless.

1 ) How to change RM?

2) First question remains unanswered. Is this really a thing in HDFC? Everyone eligible with X number of spends for 2nd core card? Or only very specific exceptional cases?
Call customer care and it'll say to change your RM, press one number. Try that. Or you can request the executive to change

Please elaborate your first question

no, not official or not a thing in any bank. its always upto us and rm/bm/person processing that application. In that case everything can be adjusted.
