HDFC Millennia Credit Card- International transaction rewards

I used my HDFC Millennia credit card for my friend's overseas medical insurance. The amount debited was Rs 79,000. Will I get reward points for this transaction? Also, can someone tell me what the approximate markup charged is? Thank you.

No reward points will be credited as it is intelligible for such spends moreover there would be forex markup also applied for the same

1. Rewards yes, 1% in this case, with hard cap of Rs 1000 per statement. So 790 points.
2a. The FCY markup for this card is 3.5% , plus 18% gst upon that. So 4.13% overall.
2b. But that FCY is applicable only if transaction was made in foreign currency. Nowadays many websites take payment in DCC mode (live FCY conversion plus markup), such transaction will have no further markup in statement.
