Regalia Gold HDFC Regalia Limit Increased without any requests or consent

Hi all,

I was here last month enquiring about how to raise my Regalia Gold limit after roughly 6 months of use, I hold Regalia Gold, UPI Rupay (for instant discounts), Swiggy HDFC and recently got Tata Neu Infinity. On forcing HDFC multiple times and pushing via email they increased my limit from 1.5L to 2L on 10 October, I wasn't satisfied with my limit but still something's better than nothing. I used to daily open mycards and check for limit increase (never missed a day), fast forward 23 Nov comes the billing day for my cards and suddenly without any comms my limit was increased from 2L to 4L. I am not disappointed, but is this thing normal, or have I found a glitch in the matrix ? I am attaching the screenshots, both transactions are 12hrs apart.

AFAIK base limit of regalia gold is 3 lacs and after all the limit increase it may go to 4 lacs

And do you have availed overlimit facility?

Not sure about the base limit but limit isn't fixed, it can be 15L and maybe even more. Didn't claim the overlimit facility though.

Upper limit isn't guessable currently, but yeah RG base limit is 3 lacs as confirmed by grievance team when they were upgrading my card from millennia.

It maybe auto LE.
