So, I have a HDFC Diners Black Card and I keep getting Promo emails/SMS about spending a certain amount on SmartBuy and getting promo vouchers. I got 1 in December 2022 that if I make a purchase of 10k on smartbuy portal I will get 1k voucher.
It was suppose dto be sent after 90 days as Standard T&Cs are in such promos (I have made purchases in March, April and May because of such promos too)
but I never got any vouchers and I had forgotten about it until I got newer emails which promised vouchers too.
I raised this with Gyftr and HDFC and even through grievance Redressala nd they kept giving me new dates (15th, 21st and 28th July) to resolve this and finally today they are asking to submit proof of email or SMS of this.
No where does it say that the customer has to fllow up and also provide proof for these vouchers.
The bank is shameless that they have FAILED and on top of that telling me on my face INDIRECTLY That I am a liar by asking for prooof from 7 months ago Which I do not have (I have saved all subsequent emails after this instance)
I have laready escalated this to RBI ombudsman yesterday and also wrote to PNO (They have separate PNO zone wise and city wise) so I escalated this to the Ahmedabad one as thats the 3rd elevel fo escalation after grievance redressal. Anything else Ic an do besides this?
